Boats

- Please provide the Association with a copy of your Certificate of Boat Insurance listing Pelican Cove POA as an additional insured.

- Maximum length allowed is 60 ft. (in units without restrictions only and with a dock extension). See Boat Slip Chart.

No boat, vessel, boat slip or dock may be leased or rented except as part of a lease or rental of a unit, which must be submitted to the Membership committee for consideration and ultimate approval by the Board.

2011 Survey with extra dolphin piles added since that year.

Since 2011, extra dolphin piles were added to some docks at PC. This map shows those dolphin piles (observed by two volunteer members of the Seawall committee in July 2024).

This survey, building on the preceding two surveys, is used to generate Pelican Cove’s Slip Chart. The POA can authorize changes to a boat slip only if it is a non-restricted slips. The owner of a unit with a non-restricted boat slip must cover the expenses of extending the dock and adding dolphin pilings, which in turn should be similar in length and construction material to those at other non-restricted boat slips.

This survey provides the boat length restrictions in the areas of the cove identified in the preceding survey. These are the slips by the bends of the seawall near the Clubhouse as well as restrictions on one side of the docks at Unit 12 and Unit 13.

This survey limits boat length to 60 feet due to the size of the basin and identifies areas where boat slips will require additional boat length restrictions.
